Office Hours and Policies
-
Location - My office is located in Thousand Oaks, California. (northwest of Los Angeles). I also do consultations via phone and zoom.
-
Hours of Practice - I'm in my office every weekday between 9:00am and 6:30pm. There are sometimes exceptions due to life circumstances (jury duty, etc.), so please call before you come in to make sure I'm in the office and that I'm available. I am also available after 6:30pm, and some Saturdays by appointment.
-
Emergencies - I'm not equipped to handle medical emergencies, so if you are in need of emergency medical care, please go to the closest emergency or urgent care facility.
-
Cell phone - I don't typically use my cell phone for my practice (unless I'm home sick and needing to reschedule appointments). If you are wanting to contact me, I prefer that you call my office (805) 494-8340 to leave a voicemail. You can also email me.
Email - If you're tryinng to get in touch with me to schedule an appointment, or obtain input about your healing process, it's usually better to call my office. Leave a voicemail message if I don't pick up and I'll return your call as soon as I can. You can also email me, although I check my voicemail messages more frequently than my emails. If it's important that you get ahold of me quickley, then please leave a voicemail in addition to sending an email.
You can also email me prior to a consult if you would like to provide me with written information before a consult. This might be a good option in these circumstances:
- You have a lot of information to communicate and want to insure that I have all of the information in writing beforehand, or
- You find the process of journaling about your symptoms and your process therapeutic, or
- You're a mom and you'd like to provide me with information about your child in writing so you don't have to share it with me verbally in front of your child.
Information Management - Although I do often provide handouts as part of my practice, I usually also provide a great deal of verbal information during consults that may be helpful to revisit later. (This can include information about the remedy/remedies I'm recommending for you, general information about the healing process, and/or comments about your particular healing process.) As such, you might find it helpful to have a notebook and pen handy to take your own notes, whether we're working in person or remotely via phone or zoom.
Also, you might find it helpful to keep a binder or folder for your consult notes, as well as a digital folder for the handouts I provide over the course of our work together.
-
Payment - Currently, I'm not set up to receive credit card payments. Please bring a check with you if you're coming in person, or mail me a check following our consult. My mailing address is on my website (3075 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Suite 16, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362).
